    We are reviewing each of the comments received from the public and statutory consultees and revising the Neighbourhood Plan ahead of preparing the Regulation 16 document.

  • Neighbourhood Plan Regulation 16 Submission and Consultation

    Spring 2025

    The final Neighbourhood Plan is submitted by CTC, as the 'Qualifying Body', to Cotswold District Council. Cotswold District Council’s role is to ensure that the final plan complies with all relevant legislation and then publicises the plan for a minimum of 6 weeks public and stakeholder consultation.

  • Independent Examination

    Summer 2025

    Autumn 2025

    After the Reg 16 consultation, Cotswold District Council will appoint an independent Planning Inspector to examine the final plan; the role of the inspector is limited to testing whether or not the Neighbourhood Plan meets a set of basic conditions after which the plan will go to a local referendum.
